BUCKET EVOLUTION The Grit Guard brought massive change to the standard wash process and car wash bucket. It sits at the bottom of your standard 5 Gal bucket and acts as a screen or filter and keeps dirt from your car and wash pad at the bottom of the bucket. This keeps your wash pad cleaner and reduces the chance of cross contamination and reintroducing dirt from the bucket back onto the car. A very small piece of plastic in your bucket truly does make a big difference in your wash process moving forward. Why We Use It We use the Grit Guard simply because we will use any and every measure we can to reduce swirl marks and preserve the perfect finish we spent days creating during a Status Detail. We use Grit Guards in our wash, rinse and wheel buckets. This is an essential tool for your wash setup and I even have a wash bucket setup with two Grit Guards in it for when we clean the occasionally extremely dirty car.
