The Weave-a-round Circle Loom kit comes with two sizes of precision laser-cut looms along with directions and weaving needles -- just add yarn! The larger loom is specially designed to make a one piece WOVEN BERET -- just follow the special warping directions, weave, take the weaving off the loom and sew one small seam and your beret hat is done! Both the small and large looms can be used to weave circles with thick or thin yarns; these circles can be made into into hats of various styles by adding knitting or crochet, or your woven circles can be transformed into pillows, tote bags, collars, hot pads -- whatever you envision! Perfect for using handspun, textured yarns and odds and ends in creative ways! Kits includes: Two circular looms: small measures 6 3/8 inches, an excellent size for embellishing and children's hats large measures 11 3/4 and can be warped to create a flat circle, OR a one-piece beret. Weaving needles - one short, one long Detailed Directions - basic warping, warping for thicker threads, warping for a one-piece beret, and guidelines for turning a flat woven circle into a hat by adding knitting or crochet. Looms are made in the USA in your choice of birch plywood, opaque white acrylic, or dark grey translucent acrylic. The wooden looms are finished (shade may vary). Please choose which material you wish for your looms. (there is no functional difference, its just a matter of personal preference).
